One Whistle

Cruising down the Intracoastal is like driving on a major highway, but the road is water varying in conditions, if you don’t stay on the road you will most likely run aground, and there are completely different rules.  There can be a lot of traffic, and there are even “work zones.”  Communication can be achieved by the use of horns, lights, hand signals, and even shouting, but the primary tool is the VHF radio.
